What's Left?
Things to think about when everyone else is just talking.
Blog: Thoughts and commentary for our time.
Welcome to "What's Left?"
The blog links are to short stories that go beyond what you see in the newspaper, on television, or online. And be reminded: There's not always a good reason for what is happening -- but there is always a cause and a consequence -- neither of which may be what you thought. And, of course, after understanding what's left, we must ask ourselves, "What's next?"

Please note that the Archive category on the blog page contains many stories that have been written in the past. You might find those interesting -- especially if you mentally change the main topic from those days to a major issue for the present. For example, back in 2004, the passage of a "primary seatbelt law" was getting a lot of attention across the state -- but was going nowhere in the South Carolina legislature. Here in 2020, just substitute "face masks" for seatbelts and see what happens when you read that story. It's kind of like watching Salvador Dali's melting clocks.
When new or archived stories were originally published, the embedded links were live and active. As the original publishing date moves further into the past, it's possible that some or all of those links may not work in the present. I say that just so you'll know; you can always search for related topics and/or titles to find new links for the references.
And there will be new stories every so often; so, add this site to your favorites or bookmarks and check back often. Where else can you get this much entertainment at this price -- and you don't have to go out in the pandemic (you know, the face mask thing...)?

This is not a social media site. If you just want to troll, the author suggests you get your own website (like he did) and not bother sending him an email.
